Kathryn Jean Whitley, 66, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at The Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, August 5, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sandy Hortman officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Whitley was born June 6, 1947 in Ellenville, NY daughter of the late Leslie Green Coddington and Mary Elizabeth Teal Coddington. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Donald E. Whitley of Columbus, GA, daughter, Lynan Stringfellow (Stephen) of Seale, AL, sons, Glen Johnson (Holly) of Douglas, GA and Donald Whitley of Salem, AL, brother, Robert E. Coddington (Midge) of Barnesville, GA, several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Joanne Eberly of Hershey, PA, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
