Kathryn "Toddy" Reeves Taddeau, 78, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. John Fugh officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Taddeau was born August 17, 1935 in Lancaster, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Hugh Reeves and Eloise Townes Reeves. Ms. Taddeau was a graduate of the University of Georgia and later taught school at Columbus Jr. High and River Road Schools. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Historic Society; and was greatly involved with the Democratic Party. She attended both St. Paul United Methodist Church and Upatoi United Methodist Church throughout her lifetime. Spending time at the beach with family and friends was her great love as well as boating, and collecting rocks which goes back to her minor in geology. She had the most loving and giving heart and she loved her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Melinda "GiGi" Woodall Anderson (Warren) of Salem, AL, Mollie Woodall Bruer (Mark), and Jessica Victoria Woodall both of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren, Townes Ward, Kaitlynn Griffith (Zachery), Ed Norris, Andy Norris, Hugh Norris, Ryn Welch, and Toddy Kate Woodall all of Columbus, GA; three great-grandchildren, Ries Borum, Mollie McInvale, and Turner Griffith; brother, John Stephen Reeves of Columbus, Georgia; two nephews, Jimbo Martin and Robert Enke of Columbus, Georgia; close family friends, Allen and Bonnie Woodall.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Enke.
