Kathryn Elaine Foster, 55, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God with Reverend Paul Thomas officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Foster was born June 14, 1955 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Douglas Lee Foster, Sr. and Hattie Wheelis Foster. She was the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Columbus, GA. She was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Columbus State University, and she received her Master's Degree from Troy University.
Survivors include her two daughters, Audra Rheaume (Sean) of Columbus, GA and Julie Dowdney of Columbus, GA, five sisters, Martha Jones of Springfield, MO, Patricia Tompkins of Midland, GA, Myra Higginbotham of Fortson, GA, Ruth Armont of Springfield, MO and Rebecca Allen of Columbus, GA, three brothers, Daniel Foster of Ellerslie, GA, Douglas Lee Foster, Jr. of Smith Station, AL and David Foster of Americus, GA, and five grandchildren, Lia Little, Morgan Dowdney, Emily Rheaume, Avery Rheaume, and Sean Thomas Rheaume.
