Kathrine A. "Katie" Clark McLanahan, 23, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at her residence.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 19 , 2011 at Bethesda Baptist Church, 3830 Hwy 85, Ellerslie, GA with Dr. Todd Sullens officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Kathrine was born February 24, 1988 in Columbus, GA daughter of Ken Clark and Glinda Jordan Sanford. She was a student and member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Matthew "Matt" McLanahan of Columbus, GA; her son William "Ted" McLanahan of Columbus, Ga; her father, Ken Clark of Columbus, GA; her mother, Glinda Sanford (Michael) of Columbus, GA; siblings, Maggie Sanford, Preston Sanford, Vickie Sanford and Rene' Sanford all of Columbus, GA and Jamie Clark and Shelby Clark both of Waverly Hall, GA; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Clark of Columbus, GA and a host of other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1382, Columbus, GA 31902.
