Kathleen “Kitty” Land

Kathleen “Kitty” Land, 81 of Hamilton, GA passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024 with her family by her side.

The family will have a Celebration of Life visitation on Tuesday September 3, 2024 from 5:00-7:00pm at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Kitty was born March 15, 1943 in Savannah, GA to the late Thomas J. Martin and Margaret L. Thompson Martin. She was retired and previously worked in the human resources department at West Central Regional Hospital. Mom loved her family, the sun, music and wine. She loved a good joke with a beautiful smile and great laugh to add to the fun. Although, she could cut you down a notch or 2 with that infamous Martin Glare if you needed it. Mom had a big heart, wouldn’t ask for anything, but would give unconditionally. She was an amazing mother and loving friend.  Mama will be sorely missed as the last person eating a meal at family gatherings. We will continue to carry the torch of silliness and jokes (and dad jokes) in her absence. You will always be in our hearts and memories. We love you now and forever.

Survivors include her daughter: Cami Grady (Mike) of Hamilton, GA. son: Kevin Offutt, Sr. (Renee) of Ponchatoula, LA, brother: Thomas Martin (Mary Jane) of Greenville, SC and sister: Cynthia Glendenning of Bluffton, SC. Grandchildren: Thomas Joseph Holt (Brooke), Kevin Offutt, Jr. (Aimee), Jacob Offutt (Kayla), Sean Khristian M. Grady, Alyssa Cheyenne Eberhart (Marcus), River Nicolas Offutt and ten Great Grandchildren.
