Kathleen Sullivan Gagnon

Kathleen Sullivan Gagnon, 79, of Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Columbus Hospice House.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at St. Anne Catholic Church. A rosary will be said at 5:00 PM , Tuesday, June 4, 2024 with a visitation to follow till 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, 31907. A burial will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Kate was born November 6, 1944 in Fall River, MA to the late Marguerite Craig Sullivan and John Dennis Sullivan. A retired registered nurse, she graduated from St. Agnes Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. She was an avid member of St. Anne Catholic church and participated in the Outreach Program.  She was also a member of the local Chattahoochee Valley Bee Keepers. Kate loved to garden and volunteered at Callaway Gardens, but most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved family and pets.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Denise P. Sullivan.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry L. Gagnon of Columbus, GA; sons, Jeffery B. Gagnon (Janet) of Sandy Springs, GA, David H. Gagnon (Stephanie) of Locust Grove, GA and Scott H. Gagnon (Michele) of Perry Hall, MD; siblings, Margaret A. Sullivan (Timothy) of Little Silver, NJ, John D. Sullivan (Suzanne) of Bear, DE, and Michael K. Sullivan (Susan) Newark, DE; grandchildren, Alexandra, Adam, and Jack as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
