Katherine "Nan" Wilson, 67, of Columbus, GA died Monday, October 22, 2018 at Kindred Hospice.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 26, 2018 at Edgewood Baptist Church 3564 Forrest Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Nan was born April 30, 1951 in Early County, GA daughter of the late James Johnson and Martha Murkerson Johnson. She worked as the Senior Sales Coordinator for Juice Plus. She was an active member of Edgewood Baptist Church, a member of the Rose Buds Sunday School Class and was a leader in the Pro-Life Ministry in its early years. She also served meals to home bound church members. Mrs. Wilson was a teacher and librarian at Christian Heritage Academy. She was also a member of the local chapter of Business Networking International (BNI).
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, James Wilson of Columbus, GA, children, Samuel Wilson of South Carolina, Sarah Koester (Josh) of Orlando, FL, Jonathan Wilson (Melia) of Columbus, GA and Joseph Wilson (Amy) of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren, Brianna, Jonah, Mariah, Aspen, Harley, Jericho, Parker, Josiah, Haven, Breaker and Camp, sisters, Linda Skipper of Columbus, GA, Sandra Staley (Dan) of South Carolina and Beverly Jordan (Joe) of Montana, and brother, Gary Johnson of Blakely, GA.
