Katherine Stroup
October 7, 1957 — July 14, 2016
Tiny, as we all knew her; was a blessing to our world from October 7, 1957 until July 14, 2016. She left this world surrounded by her family and friends.
Everyone who met Tiny was touched in the heart and the funny bone. Her laugh, smile and twinkle of her eye gave you hope and set your heart to love as much as she loved you. She has left thousands of people brokenhearted; people that she affected in this life, directly and indirectly.
She is survived by her mother, June Tinker; sister, Deanna Trotter; brother, Billy Tinker; son, Chuck Stroup and wife April, and their children Courtney and Joey; daughter, Dawn Stroup and her son Shae. All of us will mourn her passing, but our hearts will heal by our memories of her, as well those of others as they are shared over the coming years. Also important to her, were the many canines that she so warmly fostered for PAWS HUMANE in Columbus. Waverly, Harris, Cubye and Tito still are looking for her to come home each day.
She leaves many hurting hearts, but as a wise friend said during a hospital visit, "We all will see her again one day".
We plan to have a celebration of her life on Friday, October 7, 2016; her birthday. Once final plans are made we will post it to her Facebook page.
