Karon B. Burgess, 63, of Phenix City, AL died Monday, June 24, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Ed Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Karon was born April 6, 1961 in Demopolis, AL daughter of the late Kenneth Broughton and Janette Gibbs Broughton.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas G. Burgess; sister, Sharon Cargile; brother, Kenneth Broughton, Jr (Joni); nieces, Meredith Schiff (Adam), Tori, Janet; nephews, Broughton, Bailey and Kolson.
