Karola Roney, 64, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday June 5, 2024 at her residence.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2024 at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus GA 31907. A private burial will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Karola was born May 24, 1960 in Asslar, Germany to the late Otto Schneider and Gisela Setzer Schneider. She worked at Publix as a Cake Decorator and loved her work. She also enjoyed fishing, painting, traveling, soccer, music, and movies.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Leo Roney of Columbus, GA, son, Frank Roney of Aiken, SC, sister, Sonja Schneider-Landrock (husband Frank Landrock) of Germany, brother, Dirk Schneider of Germany, sister, Gabi Rucker of Germany, niece, Anika Deniz and nephew, Sven Rucker.
