Karen Renee Spruce, 47, of Hamilton, GA died Monday, December 19, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Bethesda Baptist Church 3038 GA-85 Ellerslie, GA 31807 with Rev. David Helms officiating. A private interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Karen was born March 11, 1969 in Macon, GA daughter of Hubert David Tucker and Jacqueline "Jackie" Evans Tucker of Macon, GA. She worked as a Radiology Technologist for Columbus Diagnostic Center and was an active member at Bethesda Baptist Church with numerous ministries. She loved squirrels, bunnies and all farm animals, and had a heart for both local and foreign missions.
Survivors other than her parents, include her husband, Wesley Spruce of Hamilton, GA, children, Laura Beth Spruce and John-Michael Spruce both of Hamilton, GA, sister, Teresa Tucker Ford (Randy) of Macon, GA, mother-in-law, Mary Ann Spruce of Macon, GA, sisters-in-law, Bonnie Couey and Cheri McCaulley both of Macon, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Building Fund at Bethesda Baptist Church in Ellerslie, GA.
