Karen K. Brabston, passed away on November 14, 2024, in Columbus, GA. surrounded by her family that loved her dearly.

A Celebration of life service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Karen was born August 09, 1944 in West Point, NE. Karen was married to Doug Brabston, her husband of 58 years and mother to her sons, Chad Brabston (Kim), Eric Brabston (Karen) and Josh Brabston (Heather). She was known as Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Katelyn Brabston Allen (Austin), Matthew Brabston (Becca), Rachel Brabston Scott (Cameron), Madison Brabston Hart (Chas), Colby Brabston, Parker Brabston, Sara Hodge, Emily Fultz (Chandler) and Mackenzie Allen, Barrett Brabston and Brinley Hart.

She is also survived by her brothers, Robert (Cherie), James (Debbie), Richard (Mary Ann), and Tom (Mary) and preceded in death by her parents Catherine Tingelhoff and George Tingelhoff, and brother, George Tingelhoff, Jr. and sister, Jeannie Farmer.

Karen’s life was a testament to the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the power of faith. Her legacy endures in the lives of those she touched.
