June Evelyn "Boots" McLemore, 74, of Fortson, GA died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at VistaCare Hospice at Franciscan Woods.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church 959 54th St. Columbus, GA 31904 with Reverend Jerry Speer officiating. Interment will be held at Oakhill Cemetery in Waverly Hall, GA. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. McLemore was born January 7, 1937 in Montezuma, GA daughter of the late Thurman L. Lamberth, Sr. and Mary Lucille Lockerman Lamberth. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Dawson McLemore of Fortson, GA, daughter, Donna Jean McLemore Hutto (James) of Columbus, GA, four sons, Marshall "Bubba" McLemore (Lora) of Fortson, GA, Bill McLemore of Columbus, GA, Don McLemore (Lynne) of Fortson, GA and John Darin McLemore (Tonya) of Fortson, GA, one sister, Helen Underwood of Green Cove Springs, FL, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
