Julie Jayne Faust, Ed. D, 49 of Columbus died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cindy Garrard officiating. Interment will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Lexington Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lexington, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, Ga.
Ms. Faust was born June 18, 1962 in Athens, GA daughter of Jayne Argo Stallings and the late Dr. Walter Zachariah Faust, IV. She was a graduate of Columbus State University and received her Masters and Doctorate from Nova University. She was a professor at Phoenix University. She was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her mother, Jayne Argo Stallings and John Stallings of Ft. Myers, FL; daughters, Hannah Thomas of Athens, GA and Nancy Britt Thomas of Atlanta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Walter Zachariah Faust, V and Lesley Faust, their son, Chris Bledsoe of Hamilton, GA and the father of her children Summie M. Thomas, III of Columbus, GA.
