Judy Ann Johnson, 71, of Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Phenix City Health Care.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Billy Duncan officiating. A private family burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born November 21, 1943 in Coffee County, Douglas, GA, daughter of the late Hayden Day and Annie Ragsdale Day. She was retired from Jefferson Pilot Life Insurance as the secretary trainer. Judy was a member of Beallwood Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was involved in many other activities.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, W. T. Johnson of Columbus, GA; son, Todd Johnson (Marcia), Cumming, GA; daughters, Michelle Morrison (Mark) of Columbus, GA and Tonia Williams (Dee) of Phenix City, AL; sister, Betty Lanier (Richard) and brother, Joe Day (Margaret) all of Douglas, GA; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Morrison of Navarre Beach, FL, Alexis Johnson of Cumming, GA, Trey Williams and Alexis Williams both of Phenix City, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
