Judy Lee Sherrer Bacon, 72, of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, died Monday, February 2, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 6, 2015 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy A. Henschel officiating. Interment will follow in Waverly Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:30-7:30 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Judy was born January 19, 1943 in Crawfordville, GA, daughter of the late Gordon Albert Sherrer and Thelma Tuggle Sherrer. She was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a leader of the Impact Women's Ministry. Ms. Judy was a member of the Harris County Relay for Life and worked in the Pine Mountain Tourism Office.
Survivors include her daughters, Michele Davis (Monty) of Ellerslie, GA, Christie Webb (Jamie) of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, and Jennifer Webb (Mike) of Hamilton, GA; sister, Sandra Greene (Charles) of Crawfordville, GA; 7 grandchildren, Kelsey Webb, Heather Webb, Ryan Davis, Daniel Davis, Chloe Webb, Allie Webb, and Kayne Duke; aunts, Jean Atkinson, Norma Neal; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
