Joyce Ramona Mclendon Fripp, 93, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 15, 2024 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.
Joyce was born August 25, 1931 in Columbus, GA to the late Bennie Lee Mclendon and Maggie Eva Peters Mclendon. She was an Interior Designer at Jimmy Mordic Paint and Wallpaper and absolutely loved the people she worked with and the customers she helped.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arthur Fripp, Sr., son, Richard Arthur “Butch” Fripp, Jr., brothers, Richard and Charles Mclendon and sister, Sara Hernandez.
She is survived by her son, Claude Gregory Fripp , daughter-in-law, Jannie A. Fripp, granddaughter, Samantha Dawn Fripp Mathis (Tyler), great-granddaughter, Alexis Claire Mathis, sister-in-law, Pat Mclendon and many nieces, nephews, good friends and other family members.
