Joyce A. Branch, 82, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, August 01, 2020 at Piedmont North in Columbus, GA.
A private funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 05, 2020 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Tommy Henschel and Rev. William Chambliss officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the funeral service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.
Joyce was born August 09, 1937 in Tampa, FL to the late James Alvis Alexander and Vera Shannon Alexander. She worked at Segal and Sons as a jeweler and Gemologist before she retired to become homemaker. She loved to cook, sew, sing, shop, spend time with her family and travel. She has been described as Classy and Sassy!
She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and loved the fellowship of the women of her Sunday School class so much!
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Donald Joe Branch of Columbus, GA, daughter, Stacey Branch Chambliss (Billy) of Cataula, GA, Mendi Branch Maule (Sam) of Orange Park, FL, grandchildren, Elizabeth Bridges (Daniel), Will Chambliss (Brittany), Mary-Catherine Chambliss, Alexandra Maule, Eli Maule, Danielle Hall (Colby), Lauren Maule, great-grandchildren, Bryan, Brett, Brock Bridges, Liam, Isla, Ruby Chambliss, Gracelyn Hall, and very special friends, Jim and Patsy Brannock and family, William and Debbie Smith and family.
