Joy A. Maus, 76, of Carrollton, GA died Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Atlanta, GA.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Reverend Sam Braswell officiating. There will be a private interment at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Maus was born March 27, 1939 in Troy, AL , daughter of the late Virgil Shiver and Louise Leatherwood Shiver. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Williams.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Larry Maus of Carrollton, GA; daughters, Cathy Dinning of Douglasville, GA and Susan Campbell (Lynn) of Upatoi, GA; son, Michael Everritt of Carrollton, GA; brothers, Lawrence Shiver (Judy) of Cataula, GA and Leonard Shiver of Phenix City, AL; grandsons, Steven Baxley, Marcus Baxley, Michael Everritt, II, Nicholas Bowers, Dustin Bowers and Daniel Campbell; nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
