Joseph "Joe" Thomas Collins, Jr, 21, of Columbus, GA Died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Cancer Treatment Center of America. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, with Reverend Glenn Presley officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Joe was born September 15, 1997 in Columbus, GA, son of Joseph Thomas Collins, Sr. (Margie) and Wendy Toland Mason. He graduated from Harris County High School in 2016. He loved Fortnite, playing spades and many other games. He enjoyed cooking with his family and eating even more. He cherished time spent outdoors, especially fishing. He was a devoted Alabama Football fan. He cherished the time he spent with his beloved dog Ted. Spending time with his family and friends brought him the most happiness. He lived to bring laughter to everyone around him and to help anyone that needed it. His beautiful spirit shined through his smile that would bring the sun out on a rainy day.
Other than his parents, Joe is survived by, siblings; Randy L. Toland of Cataula, GA, Steven Hunt(Samantha) of Waverly Hall, GA and children Harper and Levi, Jennifer Sanders of Columbus, GA and children Caleb, Brayden and Kendall, grandparents; Ginette Collins of Columbus, GA, Randy M. Toland(Marlene) of Cataula, GA, aunts; Leslie Coulter Cannon(Jimbo) of Cataula, GA and children Jason, Chelsea and Julie, Megan Toland of Cataula, GA, Krystal Allen(Matthew) of Columbus, GA and children Ryan, Aubree, Brice and Piper, uncles; Gary Coulter(Teresa) of Columbus, GA and children Tiffany and Shelby, Scott Coulter(Laura) of Norman OK, and numerous other cousins and countless friends.
