Jonnie Stricklin Adams, 95, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Clemson Downs Nursing Facility in Clemson, SC.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Ronnie Culpepper officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Sanford "Sandy" Stricklin.
Mrs. Adams was born January 4, 1921 in Henry County, AL daughter of the late Coleman and Gertie Killingsworth Watson. She retired after many years of service with the U.S. District Court, Clerks Office in Columbus, GA.
Survivors include her daughter, Julia Trussell (Bill), grandchildren, Randy Trussell (Kim), Leigh Wise and Clay Trussell (Matina), great grandchildren, Cortney, Ryan and Reid Trussell, Katie, Cole and Lizie Wise, and Will Trussell, and sisters, Jeanette Hicks and Janice Snider.
