Jon Wayne Alakamovitch

Jon Wayne Alakamovitch, 72, of Columbus, GA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Mr. John McLemore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held following the service at Parkhill Cemetery.
Jon was born June 13, 1949 in Evanston, WY to the late John Charles Alakamovitch and Mary Dorothy Kish Alakamovitch. He served in the US Army where he was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from USAA after 20 years as an insurance adjuster. He loved working on Hot Rods, going to car shows, wood working and spending time with his family and friends.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Connie LittlejohnAlakamovitch, and son, Christopher Norman.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, ShirleyAlakamovitch of Columbus, GA, son, Michael Alakamovitch (Courtney) of Cataula, GA, daughter, Tonya McLemore (John) of Hamilton, GA, daughter-in-law, Karen Norman of Fortson, GA, sisters; Jeanne Larson (Eric) of Burley, ID, Jo Alakamovitch of Boise, ID grandchildren, Wyatt Alakamovitch , Will Alakamovitch, John McLemore II, Brooke Trevathan (Brian), Bailey McLemore, Lucas Higgenbotham, Derek Higgenbotham, Stephen Norman, great-grandchildren, Whit and Walt Trevathan, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many life time friends.
