Johnnie Lee Daughtry, 91, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Columbus Hospice at Midtown Medical.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Reverend Jerry Spears officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Johnnie was born September 29, 1924 in Geneva County, AL daughter of the late Lewis Jack Baker and Lela Mae Hallford Baker. She retired from Bibb Mill and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Daughtry and daughter, Mona Jean Hudson.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynell Carroll (Tommy) of Phenix City, AL, son-in-law, Joe Hudson, three grandchildren, Lynn Holcey (Kevin), Joshua Hudson (Heather) and Brent Hudson (Lauren), four great grandchildren, Kayla Holcey, Braden Hudson, Bella Hudson and Stella Hudson, one great great grandson, Khristian Hampton, and three sisters, Joann Dassinger (Robert Earl), Sue Hayward and Loraine Jefferies.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 959 54th Street, Columbus, GA 31904.
