John "Bubba" Gary Hodge, Jr.

John Gary Hodge, Jr. “Bubba” 40, of Columbus, GA died Friday, July 2, 2021 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Christ Community Church with Pastor Derrick Shields officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

John was born May 6, 1981 in Columbus, GA to Gary Hodge and Patti Hodge. He worked for his father for over 20 years at Gary Hodge Painting and he also worked for Townsend Tree Service. He was always the life of the party, impacted everyone’s life in a positive way and when he loved he loved hard.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Hodge, daughters; Adyson Rhodus, Pyper Hodge, son, Corbyn Rhodus, mother, Patti Hodge, father, Gary Hodge, sisters; Melissa Brooks, Kassi Foreman, nephew, Bentley Brooks, nieces, Landyn Brooks, Wellsley Williams, Harper Foreman, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that he considered family.
