John Starzetski, 68, of Columbus, GA died Monday, December 24, 2018 at his home.
A private burial will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Starzetski was born March 15, 1950 in Pottsville, PA son of the late Stephen and Susanna Platko Starzetski. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and later worked for over thirty years as a truck driver mostly with the company IGA. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, and visits to the beach.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Starzetski, Jr.
Survivors include his sons, John M. Starzetski (Marsha) of Dundee, FL and Jevin M. Starzetski (Jennifer) of Fortson, GA, grandchildren Jevin Jr., Jillian, Alex and Chloe, sisters, Evie Hozella of Pottsville, PA and Sue Sweigert of Minersville, PA, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those that wish may make contributions to Georgia Doberman Rescue.
