John Raynold Stallings, 95, of Columbus, GA died Friday, September 29, 2023 at his residence.
A Crypt Side service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in the chapel of Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jerry Sauls officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
John was born December 11, 1927 in Opp, AL to the late John Lacoe Stallings and Selma Myrtle Windham Stallings. He worked as a salesperson for 4th Ave. Motors and was also a cook/baker in the Army. He was a member of Edgewood Methodist Church.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Diana Peteri Stallings, siblings, Lamar and Lafayette Stallings.
He is survived by his sister, Ellouise Livingston of Troy, AL, brother, Stanley Stallings of San Antonio, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
