John “JP” Paul Ligget, 43, of Ellerslie, GA died January 26, 2024 at his residence. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907
JP was born May 13, 1981 in Fort Benning, GA son of Paul Francis Ligget and the Late Donna Marie DeSimone.
Other than his mother, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chaplain Francis A. Ligget and Dorothy S. Ligget; maternal grandparents, William and Joanne DeSimone; and uncle, David Ligget.
Survivors include his daughter, Whitney Ligget of Ellerslie, GA; father, Paul Ligget; brother, Christopher Stokes (Sarah) of Daegu, South Korea; nieces and nephews, Isabella Stokes, Mason Stokes, Parker Stokes all of Daegu, South Korea; numerous aunts, uncles and other family.
