John Riley Johnson, 62, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2nd Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Johnson was born September 28, 1951 in Colquitt County, GA, son of the late James Riley Johnson and Lillian Owens Gordon. He retired from the Electrical Department at Columbus Water Works.
Survivors include his sisters, Bobbie Ogletree of Phenix City, AL, Helen Johnson of Covington, GA and Edith Todd of Peachtree City, GA; and brother, Arnold Gordon of Brandon, FL.
