John Edward Hutchinson, 65, of Columbus, GA, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Memorial Services will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. E. Drake Whitelaw officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Mote and Jena Andrews, 3116 College Drive Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Hutchinson was born October 5, 1949 in Dothan, AL, son of the late Joseph Hutchinson and Rebecca Glover Hutchinson. He was the owner of Bi-State Wholesale Florist.
Survivors include his wife, Terry W. Hutchinson of Columbus, GA; daughters, Allison Hutchinson of Panama City, FL, Holly Fowler (Michael) of Auburn, AL, Sara Stribling (Brady) of Atlanta, GA, and Mary-Frances Hutchinson of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Naomi, Lanier, Crawford, Haley, Jordan, and Dalton; sister, Sharon Murphy (Ron) of Louisville, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Stroke Association, www.strokeassociation.org.
