John Robert Herring, 61 of Phenix City died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Medical Center.
Mr. Herring was born June 9, 1949 in Phenix City, AL son of the late Frances Key Herring and Charles Frank Herring.
Survivors include his brothers, Phillip Herring of Smiths Station, AL and Charles Key (Butch) Herring and wife Christa of Miesau, Germany; nephew, Fredrick Herring of Miesau, Germany; aunt, Kitty Barnes of Tall Timbers, MD and uncle, Harold F. Herring of Louisiana.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Maryland, according to Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St., Phenix City, AL.
