John Randolph (Randy) Elkins

John Randolph (Randy) Elkins, 69, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Canterbury Nursing Home in Phenix City, AL. A graveside memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at Ft Mitchell National Cemetery. Masks and social distancing required.
Randy was born June 27, 1952 in Columbus, GA, son of James Henry Elkins and Mildred McGuffey Tomlinson. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a member of IBEW Local 779, and had a number of loyal of friends. He loved to BBQ on weekends and watch the Georgia Bulldogs play. Randy retired as an electrician from Callaway Chemical-Exxon.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Patsy) Elkins.
He is survived by his children, Justin Ryan Elkins of Durango, CO, Jonathan Randolph Elkins of Columbus, GA; siblings, Janie Lebish (Jerry) of Columbus, GA, Carol Lennon (Burt) of Carlisle, PA, James Elkins (Carmen) of Riverside, CA; stepbrother, Billy Tomlinson (Becky) of Shelby, NC; stepchildren, Skipper McDaniel, Lisa McCrory; step-grandchildren, Alexis Harper, CJ Beam, Hayden McDaniel, Jaxon McDaniel, Mason McDaniel; and step-greatgrandchild, Reagan Harper.
Friends and family will gather at Country’s BBQ on Main Street for a celebration of life immediately following the service.
