Joe Charles Hiner, 84, of Athens, GA died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at The Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Hiner was born November 26, 1926 in Dallas, TX son of the late Harry and Maggie Mae Goree Hiner. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and he was a retired machinist for the Miami Rivet Company.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Hiner (Lis) of Columbus, GA, brother, Harry Lee Hiner (Pat) of Tampa, Fl, and grandchildren, Joseph L. Hiner and Marielis Hiner both of Columbus, GA.
