Joe Hollis Bowman, 63, of Fortson, GA died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Brother Gary West officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Bowman was born September 25, 1954 in Ft. Benning, GA son of Shirley Ann Bowman (Herman Barth) of Fortson, GA and the late James Hollis Bowman. He was a local business owner in Columbus.
Survivors other than his mother include his brother, Danny E. Bowman (Kathy) of Smiths Station, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to PAWS Humane 4900 Milgen Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
