Joanne Margaret Utt

Joanne Margaret Utt, 89, of Midland, GA died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Piedmont Midtown.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Orlando, Florida according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907.

Joanne was born January 25, 1932 in Jamestown, NY to the late Nelson Palmer and Margaret June Peterson Palmer. She worked in the schools in Orlando, FL as a Teacher’s Aide. Joanne was a devoted Christian and lived her life in service and love to her family, friends, church, and everyone she met. She served the Lord faithfully at Bethesda Baptist church were she was a member for 14 years.  She worked at the Food Bank, taught Awana, loved to bake, put puzzles together, reading books and solving crossword puzzles.  She was a sweet precious person that will be missed by all who knew her. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Zeno Utt, and son, Steve Utt.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Dave) of Orlando, FL, Karen (Jim) of Midland, GA, sister, Marilyn Pedersen of Jamestown, NY, grandchildren, Carrie Dabney (John), Joshua Abraham (Lauren), Kyle Abraham, great-grandchildren, Haylie Dabney, Emma Dabney and Greta Abraham.
