Joanne Stella McGee, 79, of Columbus, GA died Monday, March 12, 2012 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Vern Jordin officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. McGee was born November 28, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late George and Esther H. Bussell. She was a homemaker and attended Northside Baptist Church.
Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her husband, William M. McGee, Sr., brother, James Bussell and sister, Joyce Hebert.
Survivors include two daughters; Kathy Parramore (Neal) of Columbus, GA and Linda Enfinger (David) of Birmingham, AL. one son; William M. McGee, Jr. (Jill) of Columbus, GA one brother; Ronnie Bussell of Nashville, TN Seven grandchildren; Patrick Parramore, Jr., Brooke Parramore, Kim Griffith, Bryan Enfinger, Berkley McGee, Mackenzie Jones and Jackson Jones, two great grandchildren Will Griffith and Meghan Griffith, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Gardens of Calvary, Columbus Hospice House and the many caregivers for the exceptional care given during her illness.
