Jimmy Dale Wilson, 71, of Cataula, GA died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Wilson was born August 14, 1946 in Dothan, AL son of the late Wade L. Wilson and Elizabeth Oerlean Merritt Wilson. He worked in Maintenance for the Muscogee County School District. Mr. Wilson was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Perry, GA and attended Cascade Hills.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sue Foster Wilson and brother, Gary Wayne Wilson.
Survivors include his son, Jimmy "Jay" D. Wilson, II (Stacy) of Cataula, GA, daughter, Donna Lynn Wharam (James) of Perry, GA, step-sons, Jeff Middleton (Jackie) of Atlanta, GA and Steve Middletown (Carleen) of Ladonia, AL, brother, Linon G. Wilson (Doris) of Buena Vista, GA, and grandchildren, Brandon Wade Wilson, Nathan Adam Wilson, Samantha Sue Rowley and Laycee Renee Wharam.
