Jimmy Henry Sizemore, 70, of Box Springs, GA died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marvin Hebert and Earl Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Sizemore was born September 26, 1940 to the late Hanson Gardner and Ruby Cordella Wragg Sizemore in Columbus, GA. He is a member of Open Door Ministries in Geneva, GA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Emma Joyce Sizemore, five children, Jimmy Duane (Patsy) of Mauk, GA, Curtis Alan (Joanne) of Box Springs, GA, Dennis Adam of Box Springs, GA, Brian Fredrick (Sam) of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Anita Joyce King (Chad) of Columbus, GA, ten grandchildren, Curtis Alan, Jr. (Rebecca), Rodney Matthew (Megan), Nicholas Adam, David Brian, Megan Ashley, Christina Joyce Nolan, Gavin Tyler King-Nolan, Flecia Money, Jeremy Godwin and Sean Martin, great grandchild, Curtis Aden Sizemore, one brother, H.G. Sizemore, three sisters, Virginia Forsyth, Sharon Timmons, and Martha Frazier.
