Jimmy Earl Dean, 73, of Midland, GA died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 24, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Dean was born February 27, 1939 in Noma, FL son of the late Ralph Earl Dean and Nancy Ward Demers. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was the Owner of Jimmy Dean Jewelry Repair. He was a member of the Harley Davidson Club and attended Newnan High School.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Flowers Dean of Midland, GA, daughter, Michele Lovett (Chris) of Columbus, GA, step-son, Kenneth Richard Siedling of College Park, MD, step-daughter, Kathy M. Lipscomb (Fred) of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, Cameryn, Cayden and Carsyn Lovett and Jennifer and Brittany Lipscomb, and one great grandchild, Marissa Lipscomb.
