Jill Leslie Wells Peterson, 65, of Cataula, GA died Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 11, 2024 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Reverend David Hardwick officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Peterson was born April 16, 1958 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Lester and Emma Jean Goodwin Wells.
Other than her parents, Jill is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Wells.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Wayne Peterson, Sr of Cataula, GA; children, Dennis Wayne Peterson, Jr (Jodie) of Buchanan, GA, Lee Peterson (Mandy) of Cataula, GA, Holly Morris (Jon) of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Mackenzie Draper, Logan Draper, Branton Peterson all of Cataula, GA, Kynlea Morris, Leland Morris both of Phenix City, AL; brothers, Randy Wells of Columbus, GA, Robin Wells (Gaye) of Columbus, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
