Jessie “Deamie” Galyon Marler, 95, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Spring Harbor. A private memorial service will be held at a later date, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Deamie was born February 7, 1926 in Knox County, TN daughter of the late Charles Galyon and Drusilla Bennett Galyon.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Chandler; and later Harold Olson and the Rev. David Marler; son, Michael Chandler (Beth Wood); her brother, and sister.
Survivors include her sons, Scott Chandler (Jan) of Fortson, GA, Dirk Chandler (Laura) of Columbus, GA; Todd Chandler (Shannon) of Auburn, AL; grandchildren, Holley Chandler, Robin Chandler, Joshua Chandler (Jennifer), Christopher Chandler (Sarah), Shelby Chandler, Ramsey Chandler, Abigail Chandler; great-grandchildren; and great, great-grandchildren.
