Jerry Lee Rainey, 63, died July 1, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.
Jerry was born December 31, 1957 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Thomas Milton and Mary Ann Arrant Rainey. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. Jerry loved the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed fishing. Spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends was his greatest love.
Survivors include his son, Joshua Thomas Rainey of Columbus, Georgia, grandchildren; Alexis Rainey and Christian Etter of Phenix City, AL., sisters; Linda Meacham and Brenda Ogle ( David) of Columbus, Georgia , brother; Danny Rainey (Lucy) of Cataula , GA. , and many nieces and nephews.
