Mrs. Dockery died in Columbus, Georgia, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Earnest, her husband, Albert Ray Dockery, and her sisters, Doris Dunford and Janette Earnest Terry.
Mrs. Dockery is survived by her two sons, David Ray Dockery (Rosemary Griggs) and Kirby Dockery (Janet); brother, Buck Earnest; four grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy, Nicholas, and Swan; and 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Katelyn, Whitney, Lilly, and Lenore.
Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Grace Burton-Edwards, will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2100 Hilton Avenue, Columbus, Georgia. The family will receive friends in the All Saints Hall following the Service.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Dockery requested contributions be made in her memory to the St. Thomas Choir, 2100 Hilton Avenue, Columbus, Georgia 31906.
