Jeremiah Xavier Garcia, 24, of Columbus, GA, departed this life Monday, February 6, 2023.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 13, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00PM at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Green Acres Cemetery following the services.

He was born in Honolulu Hawaii on November 9, 1998 to parents Joel Garcia and Nicole Woods. He spent the majority of his upbringing with his mother and Tori Woods Sr. (Stepfather) in Columbus, GA. He is a graduate of Spencer High School where he was a part of the JRTOC (Raiders Team) in Columbus GA.

He was employed with the Columbus Georgia Fire Department (Station 7), as well as an Advanced EMT Security Guard for Pratt and Whitney. At an early age Jeremiah showed that he was a strong person with a heart of gold, willing to give himself and all that he had towards others. His personality attracted many friends and his loving spirit was contagious as he impacted all that he came in contact with.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his mother Nicole Woods, his father Joel Garcia, his stepfather Tori Woods Sr., surviving grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph & Christina Garcia, Mr. and Mrs. James & Elizabeth Sedeno, Mr. and Mrs. Bernardino & Subrina Napoleon and Ms. Rachell Woods, his brothers, Elijah Garcia, Tori Woods Jr, Evan Hightower, Keldon Thompson, Ziyah Woods, Tyree Woods, Ethan Garcia, Jonah Garcia; sisters, Destinee and Desiree Tuggles as well as Alexandria Garcia. Great Grandparent: Robert Cesena, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.
