Jennifer Leigh Butts

Jennifer Leigh Butts, 49, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully Saturday, April 1, 2023 surrounded by her family at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31097 Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.

Jennifer was born November14, 1973 in Columbus, GA to Mrs. Judy Butts and the late Thomas C. Butts II. Jennifer cherished moments spent with her family especially her nieces and nephews. She loved her stuffed animals, going to the beach, dancing and she was always making people smile. Jennifer enjoyed and looked forward to time spent at Easter Seals. Her family, especially her mother, Judy is extremely appreciative of the staff at Easter Seals of West Georgia, the staff of New Horizons and Valerie Killins and family, her caregiver for many years. Jennifer enjoyed many trips and activities with Valerie, her family and her roommate Andy.

She is survived by her mother, Judy Butts, sister, Sherry Lowry (Bill), nephews, Thomas Brewer (Amanda), Nick Lowry (Tonia), Chris Lowry (Mariel), niece, Lindsey Brewer (Andrea Clark), great nephew, Geordan, great nieces, Bailey, Brooklyn, Averi, Peyton and Calliope, uncle, Ken Taylor (Sue) and aunt, Faye Taylor and many cousins.
