Jeanette Wyrick, 87, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at her daughter's residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 17, 2009 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Udell Addison, Reverend Gary Richardson, and Reverend Ben Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Wyrick was born October 15, 1921 in Buena Vista, GA daughter of the late Frank and Amy Hardage Noell.
She retired as a bookkeeper for A & P and also was a School Bus Aid for the Muscogee County School District and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Wyrick and son, Johnnie Wyrick, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Geraldine Litz (Larry) of Columbus, GA, brother, Robert Noell (Jonelle) of Columbus, GA, sisters, Mary Richardson of Louisiana and Jean Crush of San Antonio, TX, two grandsons, Jason (Stefanie) and Eric Litz (Stephanie), four great grandchildren, Shannon, Mary, Ashley, and Emily, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Columbus Hospice 7020 Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
