Sis. Jeanette Nuckles was born October 24th, 1950 to the late Nettie Lee Fluellen and Bob Coleman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at McMullen Funeral home and Crematory with Rev. Marshall Morgan officiating. The family will receive family and friends Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 at the funeral home.
Jeanette confessed her life to Christ at an early age where she joined Canaan African Methodist Episcopal Church.She married the love of her life, the late Nathaniel Nuckles and united in fellowship with Nathaniel at the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, Youth Director, Usher Board President, Program Committee and Missionary Society Member.
Jeanette worked as a child-care provider for the Flowers family for over 30 years. She was also owner of Jeanette's cleaning service for many years.
She departed this life, Monday, March 3, 2020 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted daughter: Tracy A. Nuckles of Lawrenceville, Georgia, a loving son, Anthony V. (LaNeata) Nuckles of Cummings, Georgia, one sister, Betty Richardson, of Columbus, Georgia, 3 grand-daughters, De'Anna Nuckles of Montgomery, Alabama, Halle and Kennedy Nuckles of Cummings, Georgia, two greatgrand-sons, Caleb and Cayson Nuckles of Montgomery, Alabama, one aunt, Johnnie Mae (James) Jacobs of Columbus, Georgia, three uncles, Robert Fluellen & Lathen Brooks of Phenix City, Alabama and James Fluellen of Akron, Ohio,brother-in-law, Joseph Nuckles (Delma) of Atlanta, Georgia, Four sister-in-laws, Shirley (Reverend Louis)Harrison, and Cherry Scott of Detroit, Michigan, Geneva, Nuckles of Cummings, Georgia and Dorothy Coleman of Dawson, Georgia. Eight Godchildren, Shirley (George) Floyd of Salem, Alabama, Annie (Roney) Bell of Phenix City, Alabama, Fred Nickerson of Seale, Alabama,Tyree Gosha of Montgomery, Alabama, Moya James of Gainesville, Georgia, McChalla Nixon, Shawanda Thomas and Monica Bennett all of Phenix City, Alabama, a devoted cousin Hattie Pearl Pitts of Phenix City, Alabama, a special friend, Allen Davis Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
