Jean McNeal Mahaffey, 69, of Lake Junaluska, NC died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Homestead Hospice in Clyde, NC.
Cryptside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Chapel of Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Mahaffey was born August 5, 1948 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Albert Chapman McNeal and Annie Mildred Strickland. She worked as a nurse at Midtown Medical Center and attended Wynnton United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Mahaffey.
She leaves behind her son, Jason Mahaffey and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Emilia Grace Mahaffey and Charlotte Kate Mahaffey.
