Jason William Sparks, 39, Cataula, GA, died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 5, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Tommy Herschel officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30- 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Sparks was born February 15, 1975 in Pensacola, FL, son of Judith Sparks of Columbus, GA and the late James "Jimmy" R. Sparks.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, James W. Sparks; and maternal grandparents, John Foy Olds and Oretha W. Olds.
Survivors other than his mother include his grandmother, Dorothy M. Sparks of Columbus, GA; aunt, Sandra Key; uncles, David, Tommy, and Jack Sparks and Ralph Olds; and numerous special cousins.
