Jason Wayne Paul Mort, 47, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, GA.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 6, 2023 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Ed Ray officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00- 4:00PM Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Jason was born on February 28, 1976 to Paul and Linda Reynolds. He attended high school at Shaw High and received his Pastoral Degree from Point University. He was a sales associate at Lowes in Columbus for the past two years. Jason's first love was Jesus Christ, being the pastor of Harvest Praise and Worship. Mr. Mort was an avid University of Tennessee fan.
Jason is survived by his wife, Amy Mort; three children, Michael Mort, Eric Mort and Kira Mort; parents, John Mort, Paul and Linda Reynolds; siblings, John Reynolds (Bridget), Stacy Ellis (Curt) Paul, Jr, James, Paula (Jason), Russ and Kristy Reynolds; Mother in law, Sharon Anderson and close friend, Auntie Jan. He leaves behind a host of extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.
