Janice Faye Willis, 65, of Columbus, GA died Monday, October 15, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Chaplain Allison Owen officiating. Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery in Soperton, GA. The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Willis was born May 29, 1953 daughter of the late I.D. Oxford and Elizabeth Suggs Oxford. She worked as a nurse for Nightingale Inc. She loved animals, loved to read, paint, draw, make jewelry, and watch nickelodeon and horror mirrors.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Oxford.
Survivors include her daughters, Tracey Sheets (Christopher) of Columbus, GA, Jillian Arnold (Wade) of Auburn, AL and Kasey Willis (Nick) of Columbus, GA, sister, Shiryl Lewis (Danny) of Gainesville, GA, grandchild, Ethan Arnold and 2 nephews, Derek and Ashley Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society 233 12th St. #710 Columbus, GA 31901.
